Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety can manifest in different ways, but generally it can be described as the experience of feeling nervous, fearful, or uneasy, having worried thoughts, and/or physical symptoms like increased blood pressure, shakiness, or tenseness.

We all feel anxious sometimes. But for some of us, anxiety becomes so intense and frequent that it interferes with our lives.

Signs That Anxiety is Interfering With Life and May Require Some Assistance:

+ Your nervousness or worrying stops you from doing things you want to do, or makes it difficult

+ You are avoiding situations that you fear will make you anxious

+ Your symptoms are making work more challenging

+ You are withdrawing from others or are less social

+ You are engaging less in the things you usually enjoy

+ Others notice you are on-edge and worrying

+ Your sleep is off

+ You feel like your anxious thoughts and feelings are controlling your life

+ You can't make decisions without overthinking and rethinking them over and over

+ You have very few moments of calm and relaxation

+ Your anxiety is causing you to feel physically unwell

If any of the above points resonate with you, you're not alone.

As a therapist, I am Certified as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), which requires extensive training and experience specifically in understanding and treating anxiety-based challenges. Additionally, I am trained in various modalities for effectively addressing and alleviating anxiety, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness and Mind/Body Approaches.
